What we measure and why.
KodoTrip has no accounts, forms or checkout. We measure how pages and tools are used so we can improve the content, without collecting names, e-mail addresses or other directly identifying information.
Usage events
When you view a page, use the Finder, or click a link, the site records an event such aspage_view, tool_start or outbound_click. Events contain the page, the link or control used, campaign parameters from the link you arrived through (for exampleutm_source), and random identifiers for the event and your browser session.
What is stored in your browser
kodo_session_id(session storage): a random ID that ends when you close the tab.kodo_attribution(session storage): the campaign parameters you arrived with.kodo_internal(local storage): only set for KodoTrip staff to exclude test visits; expires after 30 days.
Third parties
No third-party analytics service is currently loaded on this site. If one is added, this section will name it before it is enabled.
Links to operators, tourism boards and booking providers take you to their sites, which have their own privacy policies. If a link is an affiliate link, the provider may record that you arrived from KodoTrip. See the affiliate disclosure.
